Christchurch celebrates its rich cultural diversity

Culture Galore Multicultural Festival moved to the new Christchurch Multicultural Recreation and Community Centre. What an incredible milestone for our community!

Huge congratulations to everyone involved in the very first Culture Galore Multicultural Festival at the brand‑new Christchurch Multicultural Centre in Hagley Park. The event brought together vibrant cultures, amazing performances, delicious food, and the warm spirit of Ōtautahi. It’s inspiring to see our diverse communities come together to celebrate what makes Christchurch so special. A massive well done to the organisers, volunteers, performers, and families who made this inaugural event such a success.
